Tuesday 8th May
Museum of Childhood
The Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green contains one of the largest and oldest collections of toys and childhood artefacts in the world. The collection, which dates from the sixteenth century to the present day has some of the oldest dolls, teddy bears, toy soldiers, train sets, model cars, puppets, rocking horses, board games and some of the very first jigsaw puzzles ever made.
Meet outside Bethnal Green tube station (central line) 11.30 am. This event is FREE. Bring money if you would like to buy something to eat from the café or buy something from the gift shop.
Friday 11th May
Battersea Zoo
Meet outside Battersea Park British Rail station at 11.00 am. (Trains go directly to Battersea Park British Rail from Victoria station). Entry costs £5.95.
Bring a packed lunch or some money to get lunch from the café.
Thursday 17th May
Clapham Picturehouse
We will be going to see a film. Meet outside Clapham Common tube station at 3.30pm. Film to be announced. Bring £4.50 and extra money for popcorn/ice cream etc. Support workers go free.
Tuesday 22nd May
Picnic in the park
If you would like to come to this picnic please ring us and book your place.
Meet outside Baker Street tube station at 12.00 pm. Come out of the Marylebone Road exit. You can take the Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan line. Bring £3.50 –this will be your contribution to the picnic.

Aroma- Chinese buffet
This includes a buffet meal, dessert and one drink. Meet outside Chinese restaurant Aroma at 2.30pm. Located in Wood Green Shopping City on the 1st Floor. Bring £8.50 & extra money if you would like more than one drink. Nearest tube station is Wood Green (Piccadilly line).
